I do my best to read the entire question. Maybe some people are in a hurry or have an impatient personality. Some also prefer to scan the info to get a general "feel" of the question and sometimes miss some crucial words. Maybe too, some people can't read well and come up with the wrong info.

Hey me too! Especially in this section. People think they know what you might mean, paste some bible quotes, and move on.
I myself miss a lot of questions just because I try to be thorough with the ones I do answer.

Are they actually doing that or do you just interpret it that way? See these days people read but are they actually understanding the question? I doubt they do, if you are finding the answers to short questions a little strange maybe just maybe they have not really put alot of thought into their answer and that's why you are unsatisfied with the outcomes. Communication although important in every aspect of life is the most difficult art to master. It takes alot of courage to communicate truthfully honestly and effectively and usually only people who are truely content within and aware of themselves (their needs etc etc) can really communicate effectively. do not stress it gets better with age and wisdom. If you are not happy with some answers to questions then come up with your own solutions and see how you go. Have a great day.

I do read them. But I think some people just like to be the 1st to answer.

I read the question-----then, IF THE QUALIFYING BLUR IS SHORT, I read it.
Why should we have to read a long dissertation just for the honour of answering a question!!!

Most are multiple questions or they really don't want an answer.They are just trying to make a point. like "Why do people hate gays". They don't want an answer, they want to promote their agenda.
Besides its a free country.
