Have you ever reunited with a high school crush...years later, after failed marriages, out-of state moves, children, etc. Do you feel that you should have been with him/her all along? If so, tell me your story.

We both realize that it was for the best that we didn't hook-up back then.....wouldn't have the knowledge of life that we have now. But, It's all good now..........*Smiles*

No but if you think about the situation it doesn't really make any sense anyway...if you hadn't had the life each of you had and didn't go through the experiences you went through then you wouldn't be who you are right now and more than likely it would've gone the way of most other high school romances and fallen apart because you 'grew' apart. So maybe you end up with that person in the end but that doesn't mean that being with them all along would have worked out. That whole thing falls under the category of romantic fiction and fairy tales but seldom is the way real life goes.

I have met up with someone I dumped early in high school. He's great. After getting to know him again, I felt horrible for the way I treated him years ago. I did feel, for a while, that I probably should have been with him all these years. Fortunately, I didn't make any rash decisions. With time, I realized that I was merely caught up in the excitement of the reunion. He's still a close friend, but I believe there were reasons we didn't end up together.

No, I haven't. I mean, not with a high school crush. I didn't even date in high school actually. And I don't think I would ever end up with one of my high school crushes...they were just pretty faces with distorted minds. But....if I ended up with my first love after all the dating n shet I'll be going through some more with other guys, I would feel like "why didn't we just stay the **** together?!" But...I wouldn't regret and have it any other way from all the dating before and if him and I ever realized we belonged together. All the in between process would be what lead us together again. (Yea, me and my ex after breaking up 2 years ago and experiencing 4 people each, are now talking again and realize we were the best we had...dunno what'll happen...we live 9 hours apart. :-/)

Once. I never married, but she did. Thing is, she wasn't really a crush for me, except at first, when she and dated in school. But after maybe 3 months, while still in school and seeing her, I lost interest, but couldn't lose her.
