Yes. Sometimes when a person is really stressed out it can affect their immune systems and thus they are more susceptible to illnesses. I used to be a supervisor in an office where we had to implement strict absence from work policies but exceptions could be made when someone was suffering with work based stress because of this.

stress it self does not make you sick but mentally we become upset and so careless too. That may result in sickness. best way to get rid of stress is share ur tension with some close friend. try to know the root of ur stress and just throw it off ur life.

I'd suggest you see your General Practitioner and request a referral to a Psychiatrist. Although pharmacology is and should be a last option, sometimes it can relieve your pain and allow you the break to get back on your feet. Perhaps you need anti-anxiety medication. Alternatively, you could see a psychologist and attend therapy sessions and request an anti-anxiety medication from your GP. Most town/cities have free counselling services for people to access. Nip it in the butt...othewise it could lead to other medical issues and depression.

Continuous stress can cause physical illness that can in itself cause more stress. Then you get into a cycle of stress induced illness. Reduce or eliminate your stress as soon as you can to avoid this.
