His stepfather was an architect is it told in Greek or is it called today a building contractor and it is very rare to meet a poor contractor, but some people have got the idea that the family was poor. Oh yes the question, No he was not crucified on a cross, not at all but if he might have been hanged up on a pole. A cross - no that took place long before in time.

the word is like Teknion, a word that was more a worker in stone than wood... more a stone mason... perhaps building mason might be a better word than carpeter or more precise?

Did he have a hand in making the cross? It would not matter but
yes and no... the Romans provided the cross... Jesus created the trees it came from...

when you consider that wood is scarce in the desert..anyone trained to work in it would be considered an artist..

but Jesus was a myth...wasnt he?? I mean..you cannot prove his existence..can you?

btw..I dont think HE had a hand in making his own cross..but his father did.

That we do not know.

But as allways, Jesus could achieve anything, but probably was modest.

Jesus is the savior and raised him self from death so he had to at least be a little good.

I don't think anyone knows. Wouldn't be something if some excavation site actually turned up something that was hand crafted by Jesus?
