Today my boyfriend called me and told me he went somewhere and two girls he knew asked him about me and than they started talking about me saying I was fat, and it hurt my feelings when he told me, but what really hurt is he never tell them anything or tell them off. He never takes up for me, but I take up for him when someone talks about him. I think that he really doesn't care. I know I should care what people say or think of me but its the idea. I

I would feel outraged. I am a guy, buty still. I would confront him about it, but not be too angry at him. Let him know that you will do something next time it happens, and punnish him a little bit now, rather than letting it go without punnishment. i swear, us guys are like little kids. We always have to be told twice.

Either he is playing with you about calling you names, I mean, maybe he thought you'd laugh it off, like "you crazy asshole!" Haha. Dnno. I would. Or he doesn't respect you that much at all. Talking about you that way is definately rude, and especially to other girls. Whether he actually believes you're fat or not, I don't know...it's more likley he did it to make the girls think he doesn't like you that much so he could win those girls over. Sounds like an ***, honestly.

Some things you just don't tell.He need to speak up for you or he need to not tell you things that he know will make you feel bad.And why he let some other female talk about you any way.

Dump him. There was no need for him to tell you what random chicks said about you when you couldn't hear them. He's not showing you respect and you deserve better.

I so agree with you. For him to just sit there and let the girls bad mouth you. I say dump him before its to late.

i had a boyfriend like that, and he was just a dumbass about womens feelings--i had to explain to him how it made me feel and why i felt he was wrong to not say anything, and he learned alot from my conversation, and stood up for me any time after that.
