Why is it that birds always fly across the road right in front of you when you driving. I've nearly hit thousands of birds in my little time of driving, I would feel terrible if I hit a bird.

Microwave or boil a million/2 espresso cup of water. Then upload a palm complete of dry cat nutrition and enable stand/soak for 20-1/2-hour until eventually mushy. Stir vigorously with a fork or blender to interrupt aside into thick moist mush. position mush into nook of plastic bag and reduce that nook of bag with small hollow. position open nook of bag into the decrease back of the birds mouth even as slowly squeezing small quantities of mush out of the bag. enable the chook to swallow and do not feed right now. you'll take care of to work out the birds gullet filling after the nutrition slides down it is throat. If the chook would not experience the nice and comfy temperature nutrition interior the decrease back of it is mouth it gained't seek for to eat it. Make small parts of nutrition because it heavily isn't sturdy for more effective than 8 hours. The chook WILL overeat, so be confident to purely feed about a teaspoon-tablespoon at a time at each and every 2-3 hours. The chook receives it fluid from the soaked cat nutrition. sturdy success! we've mastered saving toddler birds right here in Virginia :) The leg might want to heal by using itself if kept in an fantastically small section to avert a lot stream, which incorporates an fantastically very small field. this may favor to characterize a nest for the chook.

Or look at it this way:
Only the strongest survive, that is Nature's way.
In this day and age, that means wildlife has to be city smart and get out of the way of cars. Birds that don't shouldn't be passing on those "stupid" genes to offspring.
Consider too that the birds that get hit may already be sick, making them slow to move. You are doing them a favor by killing them and putting them out of their misery. Also, protecting other birds from getting that sickness.
My opinion, but I could be wrong.

Birds can't tell whether the windows are open or closed. Birds will fly straight into the car windows & windshield because of this. Birds also fly into regular windows because of this.

Birds flying into car windows & house windows is an everyday occurance. Depending on your speed & theirs, they may or may not die. I have seen birds get up after flying into house windows & the windows of cars stopped at lights & signs. With moving cars, the birds don't really stand a chance.

*Edit*
We have this one starling that lives by my house (we live out in the country) & he has thrown himself into my bedroom window at least a dozen times & gotten back up. This generally occurs when I'm eating. Starlings & seagulls that grew up around humans generally become fearless around them; this one & others have also swooped down on me & my dogs to grab hair for their nests.

they are too busy chasing a bug or grub...or just trying to get from one place to another.... and end up getting hit. Birds don't know what a road is, and may not see the car until it is too late because they are concentrating on something else.

I have been driving for 20 years and I've never hit one but I've had a few near misses. They do take risks don't they?!
