No, you shouldn't be feeding your dog meet like that. Rice isn't normally in a dog's diet either. Especially considering that breed's history, feeding your dog meat like that could result in unwanted behavioral problems later. I recommend simply feeding your dog Iams, Pedigree, Eukanuba, and other foods made for dogs.

If you pick the meat off the chicken heads, but don't feed him the bones. If you have a Rottweiler, it will probably get over 50 pounds as an adult and should be fed large breed puppy food so that it doesn't develop too fast. If it grows too fast, its weight gets to be too much for its bones to support because it develops fat and muscle faster than its bones grow. So keep the protein on the low side so the dog doesn't develop hip or shoulder dysplasia. And dogs need some fiber and vitamins and minerals from plant food (fruit or vegetables) because they are not strict carnivores and don't do well on just meat (and rice doesn't have all the nutrients dogs need.) If you want to feed your dog only homemade food, you'll have to give him more variety and no chicken bones--they're splintery and can get stuck or cut up a dog's throat.

No he's not ready!!!!!! Wait till at least 5 1/2 months if not 6... He is doing nothing unordinary for his age.... But regardless if size, his stomach is not yet ready for solids!!! And when you do start solids is should not go from 0 to 3 meals a day.... It should be started gradually with 1 teaspoon a day, then 2, and so on.... If you wait, you also don't have to do cereal at all... You can skip right to the good stuff that he will be interested in.. Just watch for allergic reactions carefully but not switching foods for 2 or 3 days... Also don't give too many bananas!!! They are very constipating... I started my first on cereal at 5 1/2 months... He didn't care for it.. Then I got carrots and he loved them!!!! He is now 3 1/2 and loves veggies and all kinds of food... He eats anything pretty much... He also has no food allergies... And is average height and weight... My second is 4 months old and much bigger than my first... He's fitting in 9 month old clothing as well... But I am still not starting solids till almost 6 months... He grabs my plate at dinner.. He watches vigilantly.. But his tummy is not developmentally ready yet...

"No, you shouldn't be feeding your dog meet like that. Rice isn't normally in a dog's diet either."
What in the world do you think dog food is made out of? Plastic? Good heavens... don't let the dog eat meat that hasn't first had all of the nutrients processed out of it! The top dog foods have rice instead of corn and wheat, and none of the foods this responder listed are anywhere near the top of the list of quality kibble.
"The dog food companies spend millions of dollars researching and formulating their food to be nutritionally complete."
No, they spend millions of dollars on marketing. Read the ingredients for Beneful sometime. They market it as a "smart, healthy organic choice" but you might as well just feed your dog McDonald's Big Macs every day, minus the hamburger. Meat isn't even listed until the NINTH ingredient; you may as well just call it "meat-flavored filler with artifical colors and flavors".
To respond to the original question:
I have no experience with feeding chicken heads, but you might consider feeding them raw instead of cooked. Check out information about raw diet for more information. Raw bones are soft and don't splinter, and I'm not sure whether the bones and beak in the chicken heads are likely to cause choke hazards. Nutrition-wise, chicken heads and rice sound like a pretty good option to me. The raw versus cooked decision might also need to consider where the chickens come from and what their risk is for salmonella or other contaminants. I'm doubt that this is a well-balance diet if this is all your dog has to eat; you will probably want to feed more than just the heads in order to get a balanced diet. If you want to pursue this route, do a little more research.

I think that you should be feeding your dog puppy food. There are so many to choose from. You usually give the dog chicken & rice if the dog has a stomach problem or diarrhea. If you have to feed it chicken please don't give the dog the bones. They can splinter and punchure the dogs intestines. Feeding the dog 2 times a day is more than enough. Good luck

You should never feed your dogs chicken bones and a head would be full of bones. They can splinter and injure the dogs mouth, intestines or throat. Vets recommend that you don't give your dog chicken bones.

Stick with that!
Rice and chicken heads is not healthy for a growing puppy,.
Rice is good if he has diarreah (mixed with a little cooked hamburger meat to make it tasty)

yes it is good for your dog to feed chicken and rice...just avoid giving any meat with bones...the bones can get lodged in his jaws or intestinal tract and cause pain and possibly require surgery. Bones in the intestinal tract can cause internal bleeding and possible death. Also you would need to supplement his diet with a good commercial food because it has needed vitamins and nutrients that he can not get from just chicken and rice
