EITHER 1.) we have free-will 2.) our brains are products of environmental factors> If we don't have free-will then MORALS don't exist since we don't get decide btwn. good and bad choices> BUT, Morality is essential to our being therefore it does exist therefore we DO have free-will. That is why I believe we DIDN'T "evolve" but were "created" w/ this capacity. Comments>>>>

You misunderstand the genesis of morality. We are a social species because of how we evolved. As such, we need rules for our societies. As our societies have gotten larger, these rules apply to more and more people. What constitutes morality is the content of those rules that allow learning, art, and freedom to be maintained over the long haul.

Slow down there patron, you are thinking faster than your intelligence can handle. Yes, I believe in evolution. Your premise is false, and so is the "logic" that follows... even your conclusion is ridiculous and that should be your strongest point.

1 and 2 do not exclude each other. Having morals and free will is also not mutually exclusive. Morals are not essential to our being. etc, etc,... point is you believe creationism vs evolution by choice not by real logic or fact.

When you have muddied up the topic well enough that you can only see it by faith, don't expect others to agree just because you have spun yourself silly.

Evolution is creation. The world is like, or mostlikely is, an organism. It came from the Sun's formation. Look up the formation of stars. From evolution, minerals, vegitations, and animals were created on earth. Ous souls came from the heavens, told monkeys to get down from the tree and onto the floor and out of the jungle. Our souls than helped them form societies and civilization and communities. For some apparant reason, I can't say why, we took over them by traping our souls in their bodies during the late monkey-to-human evolution. The Homo sapiens.

EITHER 1.) we have free-will 2.) our brains are products of an omnipotent beings will.
free will is defined as the belief that man's choices are not determined by external causes, God is an external cause, unless you are God.
"If we don't have free-will then MORALS don't exist since we don't get decide btwn good and bad choices" No one is saying that we dont get to decide between good and bad choices, both evolutionists and creationists say we decide. the thing is that decision is based on our past experiances. this doesn't mean that we dont need punishment, in fact punishment is an experiance that willl influence your future choices, so it is a good idea.

We evolved. Our brains did to, and we formed society, which lead to the beginning of empathy, and that is morals. We have free will, because there is no one to stop us. You can evolve morals, but nice try. Animals have a sense of good and bad. In evolution, as a group species (having society) it was more advantageous to work with each other, but also fight with other groups for resources.

Evolution is a fact I guess. I think GOD is a fact too. How to put these two ideas together has been a problem. Science and religion have often clashed, in the end science has expanded our idea of how great GOD is.

I think as learning humans we have to embrace that we do have a spiritual side, and that science figures out in small ways how GOD put the universe together. We tout that god is omni potent, but then limit him by old ideas.

These questions can't really be answered by the generation that asks them. Most of the time we have already made up our minds.

I believe in evolution as a development process. It is a great process so the animals, insects, etc can change to be able to exist in this world that we ppl keep changing. We ar blessed that God had the forethought to make the animalsl, etc. be able to adjust physically so they can survive. What an awesome God we have! He created us and all things and knew that changes would have to happen so many years afterward for survival.

Why does someone or something have to create free will? This argument is fallacious.

" If we evolved from apes, why are there still apes? " Ah, and the morons who hate evolution but don't actually understand it have arrived. Please read the thousand other posts that explain that we did not evolve from apes. This is something put forth by people who are trying to convert those who don't actually read for themselves. lol.

Wow, you just "disproved" a scientific theory with completely non-scientific means. Where'd you get your logic? the back of a cereal box?

People who study biology, botany and geology for a living have been trying to disprove evolution for 140 years, and never been able to. Boy, they must not be a smart as you.
