I started taking Adderall about a year ago and it was a miracle drug for me.I finally was able to study and do work like wonder woman. Before taking the medication I was a distracted mess.I couln't read a book or have patients to learn anything, but Adderall saved me.I tried other non- stimuant drugs and nothing ever relieved my Adult Add. symptoms.A year later however I am having terrible problems such as very bad panic attacks, my body goes completely numb, my circulation is terrible. Sometimes if I cross my legs my whole leg will go to sleep,or if I fall asleep on my arm it will go numb as well. The panic attacks are the worse, I wioll be in the middle of a store and I feel like I am going to pass out and die, the room is dizzy, I feel like I am choking and I feel like I am going to die. I have already been to the hospital twice and they send me home will Xanix. I am a mess and when I try to stop taking Adderall my ADD kicks in over drive-Has anyone had these problems as well?

I used to take adderal myself. But even if you ask your doctor, adderal is an amphetamine. Its just like the street drug Meth. Its hard to eat and hard to sleep while you are on it because it is Speed. Just like the street drug, the longer you take it, the more messed up your body is going to get. I am noramaly 115 -120 pounds and when I was taking adderal I was 98 pounds and I looked like CRAP!!! Dont stop taking it cold turkey because your body will suffer from withdrawls. slowly wean your self off of it by taking less and less every week until you dont take any more. Take the other medication you were perscribed after that. just keep in mind that other medications take at least a month to take there full effect. During that month it might be really hard for you but everything gets worse before it gets better. And its a lot better then messing your self up with that speed. STOP taking that narcotic as soon as you can.

Thats is some pretty bad stuff. Havent you read the side effects. Goggle it and youll learn alot
The problem with psyc drugs are that they all have side effects worse thatwhat you originally took the drug to handle so then you end up on more drugs. Pharmicudical companies make the drugs this way so that you become dependent on thair drugs for life. Once a user always a user

Our former pastor used it. Note I said former. He finally became unable to do his job and he only worked one day a week. In my opinion, I think it causes psychotic behavior. I AM NOT A DOCTOR OR AN EXPERT OF ANY KIND. I just feel like we've had a bad experience with this drug. My son also committed a violent felony while abusing this drug. Take it for what it's worth.
I say get off it. I think your doctor has to ween you off of it but I think you should stop taking it.

Wow, sorry to see you are having these issues. I would suggest you see a good nutritionist to get some advise and they will probably make some lifestyle changes for you like dietary. These things go a long way in resolving a lot of health issues (been there). Good luck!

adderall makes you a little wiry, as do vicodin's....you may have to get an anti-anxiety medication for sleep or just to calm you down.....sometimes it will be xanax, or colazepam, or even the muscle relaxer soma.....probably xanax however....go to a doctor!!!!
