The quick red fox jumped over the lazy dog.
You forgot to use the word brown to make it work right
On old typewriters, this sentence was typed out to make sure that all of the letter keys worked properly because it uses every letter in the alphabet at least once.

For someone who calls himself "Dr. Education," you sure have a lot of typographical errors in your posts. The sentence should read "the quick BROWN fox jumped over the lazy dog." That sentence uses every letter of the alphabet, and was used to make sure that all the keys on a typewriter worked right. You used 'red' instead of 'brown,' which is really a glaring error, and makes your sentence mean nothing. Thanks for playing though.

The quick red fox jumped over the lazy brown dog.
It contains all the letters in the English Alphabet. It's for typing, to see if all the letters work on a keyboard or typewriter. And I think we used it in fifth grade to check our penmanship.
