God didn't promise days
without pain,
laughter without sorrow
or sun without rain.
But God did promise
strength for the day,
comfort for the tears
and a light for the way.
And for all who believe
in his kingdom above,
He answers their faith
with everlasting love.

Peace and Love

Go DID promise a day without pain and sorrow.
"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."(Revelation 21:4)
But it is going to be in the near future. In that near future, "For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." (Psalms 37:9-11)

I firmly believe in the promise. God did not send us here for the easy way in and out. Everyone is here for a reason and that reason is not without pain and suffering in some ways. For example, my whole life is full of different pain and suffering. My best friend died in a car crash last month, but I believe that everything happens for a reason. Know matter how much I miss her I move on because I know that is what she would want me to do. So basically what I am trying to say is everything that happens in your life is to point you one the path that was made for you.

Absolutely, I believe in this promise. This is what a lot of non believers do not understand, they think that because their is a God everything is going to be wonderful. But he did not promise a life without pain or trails.

Yes, it is okay... let it come - tears, joy whatever, it is fine with me... I am an adult, can handle things really well.
:)

Everlasting love is also fine. Probably only God can give us such a thing, nobody else.

Provide evidence for the existence of your god. Then I'll take you seriously.
