so, should I? If I don't put questions and just wait for God to take me, am I really a christian? If I don't question God, do I understand Him?

Of course not, you must question your religion or you are truelly brainwashed. I mean no offence to anybody, but this is true.

Even Jesus Christ himself questioned religion.

Question everything. God has all the answers.

In the same way that a first grader doesn't understand calculus, we may not understand all of God's design in this life. We should try to learn the basics though; take care of each other, don't waste the gifts He gave us, and try to leave this world in better shape than when we came into it.

I think your assuming questioning is the same thing as challenging, like we are against everything we don't know about and thats an adversarial stance. Not what God is about, its what we are about when we don't get our way. Change your focus away from yourself and do what you imagine a loving Father would do for others here. Then perhaps you will find that God can welcome you home.

people only learn things by questioning, its just part of our nature, go ahead and question.. i do all the time... it doesn't mean you don't believe, it just means you're curious and want to know more... that's always a good thing... you're a christian if you accept Jesus Christ into your heart and you try to do His will, not yours.... its your choice not what other people decide to tell you!!! You'll know if you're a Christian or not... its just one of those things!! well hope you do what's right!! God bless!!

Do you really want to be a Christian? If so, why? If you want to follow teachings to be kind and generous, that's fine; if you're hoping to achieve heaven, and avoid hell, that's a waste of time because neither exists.

by just waiting for God to take you, do you mean just wait to die? your question really isnt very clear. however, i think it is fine to question God, as long as you are prepared to accept His answers

Jesus Christ is the Only Way to Heaven!

In The Holy Bible in John14:6 “Jesus saith unto, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” He meant: I am the only way to get to God the Father and to heaven. I am the only truth you need to know to get to God the Father and to heaven. I am the only spiritual life available to mankind. In other words, I am the only true and living God. All other so-called gods are false gods. They are not real. They do not exist. They are Satan or his demons appearing to be gods. No other so-called god has any power to forgive, remove and cleanse men from all their sins and get them to God the Father and to heaven.
The Holy Bible in Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please him (God); for he that cometh to God must believe (have faith) that he (God) is, and that he (God) is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (God).” Parentheses mine!
I pray you will believe all of this and, by faith, accept the fact that you are a sinner needing to be saved from all your sins and that the blood Jesus Christ shed for you at Calvary is the only way you can have all your sins forgiven, removed and cleansed and the only way you can get to God the Father and to heaven. I pray you will, by faith, acknowledge all of this and ask Jesus Christ to forgive, remove and cleanse you from all your sins and accept Him into your heart and life to live for Him the rest of your life. I pray you will, by faith, turn from all your sins and receive Jesus Christ into your life/heart today, without delay. Do that today.
