It is the irony for veterans because after serving the government, benefits are not readily given. The government should re-align its personnel and programs in order to give the veterans what is due to them.

OK you speak of two different issues to start off with, if a Veteran put in a claim and then that veteran dies before the claim is approved, that claim dies with the Veteran.
The other issue on claims is that disabilities that you claim must be documented in your medical record , this is of a big help in getting your claim approved by V.A.

It is a starting point for the medical exam at the VAMC before your record is forwarded to the Dept Veteran Affairs
You must remember that every issue has a certain rating assigned to it, if it is approved.

OK - you are a Desert Storm veteran.

Why don't you be a little more specific about what problem you are having?

We might be able to help you then.

Otherwise - all you are doing is whining.

I keep wondering, when everyone is going to wake up and figure out that the government is only in the game for one thing, that is to make themselves fat and rich . They could not care less about the men and women that are out here everyday struggling to get by, just so their pockets are linened with silk and green backs. Yes every 2 and 4 years they are going to come out and make their promises and if your listen they are the same promises that have been made for years by both parties, but there are still those out there who will support them no matter what. As for me I don't support any of them because they all lie.

The USA Government doesn't care about Veterans. Never has and never will.

It's called "bureaucracy." It is an insidious government disease. Employees want to protect their jobs. They don't work too much, so they'll have something to do the next day. They don't want to make a decision to pay a benefit then have a supervisor second guess them. That would put the job or promotions in jeopardy.

I'm a veteran too, and learn this -- the government has never cared, and it's not supposed to. It negotiates. Ya hear that, liberals?

Because they want to say they are doing something for vererans by passing benefits laws. When it comes right down to it they really don't want to pay any money. They would rather turn down benefits for 10 rather than pay one false claim.

they don't want to admit responsibility because of the storm of claims they would get....in other words they are seriously cheap and uncaring!
