Hi there I have not seen my father since for almost 8 yrs now and usually he use to not go more than 2 yrs without contacting me when I was a kid. I am 23 now and that was when I was 16 and on christmas day, I did a people search which charged me 40 dollars and all it did was give me a bunch of old addresses but nothing current nor phone numbers or any other ways of trying to find him. I just want some closure to find out wether he is alive or dead or what the deal is. He put me through alot when I was growing up I was only his daughter when it was confienent for him. I just want him to know that he has 2 grandkids by me now and that despite everything he put me through I am doing alot for myself.. Any suggestions? please help me.

Do you know any relatives on that side of your family. If so talk to them. If not you are probably going to have to hire an investigator. You can call around or look up finding lost love ones on the computer. It is not as expensive as you would think. Also for someone who does this for a living, it will not take them long. they know where to look. Anymore things like that are pretty straight forward and don't take very long. It will put your mind at ease and hopefully rekindle your father daughter relationship. That's priceless !!!! good luck.
