Religion is the remnants of early attempts to understand the universe around us. Science is what has developed from formalizing the ways of thinking needed to get reliable knowledge. Those that hang on to the religious explanations are no better than those that use astrology to guide their lives. They use ideas that have been shown to be unreliable.

God created the human race to have a brain that can be used logically. Throughout the Bible you will see examples of this. The tower of Babel, Noah's Ark, baskets, pottery, the list goes on and on. When you combine two or more things you are doing something Scientific. So I believe God created individuals with brains and they are to use them. They are also to use them for the good of all and not the very few . To many people think they are the all important and they should be first. Sorry to disappoint you but in everyone else's mind you are last, they are first. That is the humanistic theory. Sad one if you ask me. It is not brother helping brother but brother destroying brother. As in the Scientific community, they use life to destroy life. How sad.

The later.
It is called the "God Gap" and it fills in what we do not know.
If you can't explain something, "God Did It!"
Where does Lightning come from? Earthquakes? Well, 300 years ago it came from God. He used it to destroy bad things. Then it started hitting churches for some reason (steeples) and people blamed it on Satan and started killing "witches"
That evil Atheist came along and figured out it was electricity, lighting rods were created and buildings soar into the air today.
This closed up another gap, but we still have plenty, so we still need religion. Well, I don't.

God created all things perfect. He created Lucifer who messed up. He created Humans who often mess up. The important thing to remember is that God created Humans and the angels with the ability to choose. If not, we would be robots. Free will is the greatest gift given to man. It's mans fault he messes up, not God's. If a man lives the way God wants him to live he will have the greatest joy.
God Bless!

Neither, religion is the quest for eternal life. Science tends to invalidate the literal religious interpretations, ergo the friction between science and religion.

If God created the big bang and evolution, He must be very patient to wait 14.7 Billion years for us to evolve to the point of being able to understand His Word.

God created everything and allows mankind to learn certain scientific facts. God has always been, always is and always will be. He did not have to be created.
