God left this unanswered to give us something to think about. Animals don't have souls, but we do love them, so it's really a matter of your outlook on life. On the one hand, we won't get to see a lot of the people we love in Heaven, so why should we see our pets? On the other hand, animals are perfectly innocent and there's no reason why God wouldn't let them in for our benefit. So, be optimistic. Today, I had do put down my dog. But you know what? I know that I'll see her again.

The animals never left heaven so they have no need to go to a place that they have never left, they are quite simply already there.

Humans were the only ones dumb enough to have partaken of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Knowledge of good and evil is a metaphoric reference to judgment.

Once we were just like the animals and recognized that everything in the garden that God had given us was good. It some point we started to judge some thing as being better than others are. This set up a situation where something’s were more appealing to us than others. We started wishing for these things and were no longer happy with some of the other things in the garden.

This is what is referred to as the fall of man, or separation from God. This self-induced separation from the knowledge of the perfection of god’s gifts to us was never shared by the animals. They were too smart to fall for this silly idea and were not fooled into believing these ideas of good and evil that we accepted. This is a truly fascinating subject that has many interesting facets. Including how to reverse the process and return to the original state. If you feel the need to discuss it further send an email.

Love and blessings.

Animals were first created as companions for mankind. After the flood in Noah's day, some animals were given as food and others were still to be companions or what we call domesticated pets today. They do not have the capacity to worship God or to work towards heavenly life as humans do. Therefore, when animals die, they return to the dust. Humans are the only living beings that are able to either be awarded life in heaven or be resurrected to life on earth. Even though animals do not have the prospect of living forever, they will always be a part of our future, here on earth.

If you're basing your beliefs off of the Bible, then there is no way to answer that question because you are right, it never says in the Bible. I think this is one of those questions that you really just gotta believe whatever you want to. Could they be in heaven? Sure, why not, God can do whatever He wants. He made animals, and I don't think animals have a sinful nature so you can't blame their absence in heaven for something like that, so I really don't know.

In my biblical studies I can find no information that would support the view that animals go to heaven. Humans are unique in that they have a soul. Animals do not. I understand that this view will not sit well with many, but as far as the bible says it is a sound statement. I have 4 dogs and they are like my kids, so please spare me the gnashing of teeth you animal lovers! God created man and gave him dominion over the animals, that is straight from scripture. Like it or not, that is the way it is.

Your right, according to the book of Gensis God created the heavens and the Earth. He created all living things. There is a general desire by pet lovers that their deceased pets will go to heaven after they die, and that they will join them when they go. In reality, animals have no soul therefore they do not go to heaven.

there are several places where the bible says animals have souls. the hebrew word that is translated "soul" is "nephesh" and is also translated "breath" so in the old teastament when ever you see it talking about an animals breath it could also mean soul.
and God didn't create animals just so we can eat them. we weren't allowed to eat animals at all until after the flood.
according to the bible

A wise old priest I knew once told me that God would provide in Heaven whatever was necessary for happiness. If animals (pets) were necessary, then they would go to Heaven too.

Personally I believe that 'all dogs go to Heaven.'

God is a fictional character developed by people to explain the unexplainable. God, heaven, hell, and the bible are all used as a way to controll the masses.

I have to believe there are.
The Bible says He'll return on a horse.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Eccl.3:19-21; Please read. Animals for 13,870 years, people to date 6,072 years.
Animals were created for food for each other and later for people. Spirit from God is the life in all souls.
People are not food and they have an intellect that was supposed to have eternal life, that eternal life is supposed to be brought back to people by our Savior Jesus. So we
qualify for the resurrection and judgement.
