People vary quite a bit in size and strength at age 13. Boys are generally stronger. Girls generally have better coordination. Taller people have better leverage.

Without knowing you, I would just say a range of 125 to 200 yards is a good distance.

But "straight down the fairway" is MUCH more important to a good score.

There are lots of jokes about "Gorilla Golf" where the gorilla can hit a 400 yard drive (and a 400 yard putt!).

Hit'em straight and have fun!!!

I'm 15 and the farthest ive hit in under normal conditions was about 250. you're probably thinking wow i should be hitting like 200 then but considering im 5'7" and i work out a lot. last year i hit an average drive of about 190-200 so if your hitting at least 160 good for you. But remember as long as your hitting the ball straight it doesnt matter how far you can hit it. I've hit some pretty far drives but only to find out they went into the woods and i have to play my second shot from behind a tree. Just stay straight and ull do fine. Worry about hitting it straight and the distance will come later

Well let me clue you in. Strength has very little to do with hitting a golf ball a long ways. It may make a little difference but flush contact with the ball goes a long way. Learning proper weight shift and the right way to swing does a lot more than strength training. One of the longer driving players I've ever played with was only about 5'4" and might have weighted 120 pounds. But he understood how to make your body into a coiled spring. He didn't hit with his arms. His hands moved his arms, which moved his shoulders, which turned his torso which balanced on his legs and hips with most of the weight on the backswing being on his right foot. This created the coiled spring, ****** and loaded and the left foot was the trigger. When it came down, the legs turned the torso, which turned the shoulders, which pulled the arms down, which moved the hands and wrists and the explosion was incredible. But all your arms do is connect your hands to your shoulders. The key to power is in the hip and legs and winding up the spring.

But to answer the rest of the question, 240-250 yards at your age would be huge.

I'd say about 160 or so if you hit it square, i'm 15 and i can hit a driver 290, but strength comes with age. I normally can't hit my drive straight and gladly use a 4-wood off the tee and hit that straight about 250, accuracy is better than distance, but distance does help.
