i'm not sure how it can be considered "disgusting" it's a fried potato, just room temp instead of hot.

My boyfriend is Canadian and up there Lay's makes a ketchup potato chip. They sounded disgusting until I ate them. They are addicting. I wish they sold them in the states.

Ketchup tastes good with all potato innovations. Mashed, fries, baked. Even chips.
