In this modern world of respect for the handicapped, special education classes for the Down syndrome children, and the acceptance of people/students with physical deficiencies, blind, using crutches, etc., a reverse exists here. From the very first day of school the teacher could explain her problem and that just as she as a teacher respects all her students, they will show equal respect. Perhaps the principal could address the class regarding this subject on the very first day, but perhaps. The teacher will enforce her discipline plan from day one regardless of physical problems on either side. Students attend school to learn and the teacher is there to teach, discipline is managed, nothing has changed.
When all is said and done, I would recommend the teacher see a specialist and correct the problem.

No. teachers are authority figures for kids and it wouldn't do to have a teacher look goofy all day. I don't blame them. I would laugh too. sorry if your a teacher. I would go through physical therapy.

It wouldn't be right but I just don't see how the kids could get thru the day with a straight face.
