There are laws on forced medication. Where can I find more information on forced medication and when it can and can't be used.

Well, it probably depends on the nation, state and municipality you live in. But I think generally it's not possible unless the person poses a significant demonstrable risk (whenever they go off the medication they get suicidal or homicidal) to themself or to others when off the medication.
But it just really depends on the laws in place in the particular location. There may be some other instances too, that was just the one that jumps to mind.
But I agree with Eric S that over-medication as a society is a bad precedent. However, I disagree that everyone should be put in prison for certain things. If their behavior can be controlled via medication (IE, if they have a hormone imbalance that can be corrected preventatively BEFORE they commit a crime, shouldn't that be a viable option?). I'm not talking about doping everyone up, just specific cases where they have extreme suicidal/homicidal ideation due to imbalance in the brain and they can be put back into balance by medication.
But medical ethics is a slippery slope.
Perhaps the AMA (American Medical Association) might have some resources on such things?

It's a bad precedent to force medication on anyone. Eventually, as a society, we can force it on anyone we don't agree with that we feel is "sick" in relation to accepted "normal" behavior.
And I'm not talking about molesters or murderers. Their place is prison, but we can't force drugs on them either. We should just remove them from society.

Doctors force meds on people because that is how they get paid.
Sad but true. I have worked with people and got them off meds naturally and the doctor got mad every time. (She or he is gonna die!) or something like that.

if you work in a crazy house and one of the patients try to bite you then u can hurry up and give them some meds.
