I am looking to buy new fairwoods(esp. 5 wood) What ones are really good and are worth buying.

The most important thing in buying a golf club is to make sure that it fits your size and strength. All the brand name clubs are well made. People have favorites, but all will work with a good swing.
The major brands cost more partially because of large advertising costs and for sponsoring big name pros. That costs $$millions.
Go to a good golf store and let them help you with a good fit. By the height you mention in another Yahoo question, you may need a club with a little shorter shaft. If necessary they can cut one down a little. They also should check for the right flexibility in the shaft. The shaft is the engine of the club; get one that fits you.
Try out the medium priced brands (Adams, MacGregor, etc. Not Knight or Affinity). Almost all the heads are stainless steel, so just look for one that you like. Then try out the swing in the store. Different head designs and shaft flexes will feel different. Find one that feels good when you hit a ball.

I have some from warriorcustomgolf.com i love them. I got them thru a deal where of you try clubs out they give you some free but you are supposed to send them back after a year. I ended up buying them and love them (although I still s@#$, but I hit the fairway woods very well, people who have seen me play are always surprised how well I hit them because my game (if you can call it that) is so bad. I am pretty sure the co. still exists cause I still get e mails once in a while to try some new product. That is the one downfall, it forever for me to get them to stop calling about buying more. All in all it was worth it though.

I bought the Titliest 905 on ebay this year in a 3 and 5 wood, love them both. I can't imagine playing without my 5 wood ever again. Both are long and straight and easy to swing, feel very comfortable and confident with them. I spent less than $200 for both.
