well it's tough.. but the only thing you can do.. is be strong...

You have to be strict on yourself.. for at least a week until you get the hang of eating properly.

When you eat meals.. remember eat small portions..

and this is what people usually forget.. IN BETWEEN SNACKS.. you must have an in between snack! in between snacks such as an apple, a granola bar, any fruit, carrots, etc..

and at night.. go a little crazy.. have a cookie. or a scoop of ice cream.

Yes I know, you're thinking, "that's crazy" but be strict on yourself for 1 week.. then everything will be fine.. then you won't need to tell yourself to stop eating less..

at the same time... you have to use the treadmill for at least 1/2 an hour..everyday... that way you can get results of weight loss.

This really depends on if you are truely eating enough. Alot of people try to skip meals or eat just a little and this sends you body into starvation mode, so it is always hungry and any food it takes in it stores as fat because it doesn't know when it will be fed again. Figure out how many calories it takes to maintain the weight you want and then divide that up into 5-6 small meals spaced 3 hrs apart and drink lots of water. This should help you feel full.

Good luck

It's a decision. You may be eating too much at nite because you're still hungry. Be sure your biggest meals are breakfast and lunch, have a healthy snack in the afternoon and have a light dinner.
If you eat right during the day, you won't be starving at night. During the day you will burn your foods off, but night is the worst time to overeat because that's when you slow down. Hope this makes sense for you......

I remind myself that the sensation of eating is over so quickly that the anticipation was probably better than actually eating in the first place. I read a book called The Zen of Eating and it helped. I should go find it and read it again, actually! :)

try to distract your self. go to your kitchen. instead of opening the refrigerator. empty all the draws and cabinets and put it all back again. you will get the feeling of being in the kitchen but you wil be busy cleaning out the cabinets and draws and won't have the time to eat or to think of eating because you will be busy.

Eat balanced meals. Eat slowly and enjoy your food. When your stomach feels satisfied STOP EATING. Its all about self control and will power.

Don't tell yourself... rather, go put on your bathing suit and then see how much you feel like eating!! I've always found that in the summer, while I'm in my swim suit, I eat a LOT less. Try it ;)

You don't tell yourself anything, what you do is to muster all the will power you have to keep away from food. This will be an extremely difficult thing to do, that is why you must FORCE yourself.

If you're hungry eat something healthy instead of junk food. Eat smaller portions.
