So, now that I'm back on the dating scene, why is it so bad that I wanna openly see more than one person at a time? Its not as if I'm sleeping with all of them!

I'm not looking for marriage (just got out of that), and nor sleeping with ANY at the moment

If you are going to be "dating" more than one guy at a time, you should at least let your "dates" know that you are seeing other people and/or are not ready to exclusively date one person yet. Guys get upset because they feel that they are only being used as a free meal and drink ticket.

Not that a guy should expect to sleep with you or anything for taking you out, but a guy would at least like to know that your attention is at least focused on the two of you while dating instead of you thinking where the next guy is going to take you out.

There's nothing wrong with seeing other people as long as you're open and honest about it. As my mother always said "I don't see a ring on your finger". There's no law saying that you can't go out and have a good time with a guy when another guy you're "seeing" is busy doing something else. Why should you have to sit at home and do nothing? As long as it's okay with you that those guys can see other girls and you can all respect each others boundaries, where's the problem?

If you are not dating any one person then there is no problem with seeing more than one; however be careful that you do not get a reputation as a slapper.

Guys only like slappers as one night stands and not g/f or wives.

The person who gave you the idea that this was "bad" is either jealous or has a major ego problem. Date whomever and as many as you wish as long as you're being honest about it and don't worry about what others think.

Yes, let them know ahead of time. Otherwise, people make assumptions, might develop feelings for you. I would want to know I'm not the only one right from the start. Be careful with other people's hearts.

its not wrong that you want to see more than one person as long as u make it clear to all of them that u are not looking for anything serious and u have oher guys u are seeing. I think guys make a big deal out of it now because they have done this for so long an now we are doing it back to them.

Ah, but if you are sleeping with at least ONE of them (on a somewhat regular basis) then you shouldn't be seeing someone else.

Dictionary definition of a whore. Getting sex from one source, and fun/money/attention from another.

It only matters if you decide it matters. The only people whose business it is are you and the guys you date. If you are going to get hung up on what other people think you will have no choice but to conduct yourself the way they want you to. I say who cares what they think, do what you want.

This is 2006. That double standard is only in your head. Either that or you're living in Hicksville.
