I am a library media specialist and will be returning to work soon. I want to lose about 60 pounds and I do not like to exercise. I, also, do not want to necessarily have to write down and keep track of everything on a point system.

i am a 45 yr old female. i really hesitate to answer because i've given this answer many times and i've never gotten best answer so i figure people don't want to hear it. i lost 80 lbs over about a year and a half with this method. no exercise. no counting anything. i didn't change my life or what i ate. i simply ate about 20% of what i had been eating. for example if i normally ate 23 potato chips, i just ate 2 potato chips instead. if i normally ate a whole sandwich, i would just eat 1/4 of the sandwich instead (and throw the rest away). i swear this works. just EAT LESS of everything. i also changed from dr. pepper to unsweet tea as my drink when i went out to eat. you have to be ok with "waste" - i mean actually you are getting a better deal from wasting it in the trash than wasting it on your butt....and i decided i was getting a better bang for my buck actually by eating less because i would be thin and happy. which i am now. you know what you eat and how much. just start eating 20% of that and you will be losing weight in no time with no exercise and no counting.

You don't like exercise.....well good luck losing 60 lbs. Exercise and eating sensibiliy is the safest and most effective way to lose weight and keep it off. If you were to simply walk for about 30 minutes a day 4 days a week...and maybe do a little weight training to tone up your body and increase your metabolism you would shape up and stay that way. As for diet goes....it really is common sense....don't eat junk food all day. Eat lots of fruits and veggies...good lean meats like chicken...healthy carbs like rice and whole wheat bread and cereal...and you can still treat your self here and there to lowfat desserts and candy. Its all about moderation. Don't fall into fad diets or "magic diet pills". They don't work.Period. Losing weight fast is unsafe and the majority of people put the weight back on. My final advice... find SOME type of exercise you enjoy...your body needs it....especially if you want to lose weight. You will also be doing your heart a BIG favor too. Eat sensibly...throw out junk food temptations and keep lots of healthy snacks around the house and with you when at work or on the go. Eat breakfast!!!!! Don't eat anything 3 hours before you go to bed. And drink PLENTY of water.

I've lost 40lbs since March.

I had to change my eating and exercise habits. I eat chicken breast, turkey breast and any fish except CATFISH. I don't eat fried foods. No fast food. Each meal has to consist of 1 meat, 1 veggie and 1 fruit. I don't each starchy foods like rice, bread, corn, pasta (pretty much no carbs).

I run 3 miles fives days a week and do a 6 mile combination of a run/walk on weekends. I started with a slow walk and increased my speed and distance weekly.

I drink 8 to 10 glasses of water every day, my body craves is more now.

No sweets of course, but since this is such a strict diet, I cheat on Saturdays. And according to Healthy Prevention Magazine a strict diet 6 days a week with a 1 day cheat is a great balance. And they also say on that cheat day you should have whatever you want because the high calories will rev up the metabolism. So don't despair, it is a lot to give up, but you have ask yourself how badly do you want to achieve your goal. And start walking!

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !
