because the relationship is going nowhere and he doesnt want to deal with you about it now so he avoids the question.right now hes got you for fun and sex ect..but you are not the girl he wants to end up with so he heeps you on the hook till he finds what he really wants.im so sorry to tell you this but as i guy i have seen this played out too many times,and its the girl that always gets hurt.move on and find real love and be happy.never let any guy get the better of you.good luck .ill be praying for your happiness.

He wants you to forget the question by getting you thinking about a physical relationship (not long term). He is NOT in it for the long run.

That question always stresses most guys out they just want to be in the here and now not making plans for the future.If its meant to be you will get to the making plans part if not hell there are enough guys around in the ocean as they say.

Because he doesn't know where the relationship is going, and this is the scariest question for most guys. This is just the way of guys answering an un-answerable question.

there area few of possibilities one he may not think that the reletionship is going anywhere but doesnt want it to end or he could be afraid of it getting more seriouse (fear of cometment) but either way he doesn't want to talk about it and if you really need to know then sit him down and tell him that you are seriouse and you need him to be as well ask him and if he tried to kiss you then stop him befor he does tell him that you really need to know where it is going and that he needs to talk to you about it

I would say that it's because he doesn't see it long term with you. He likes you but he doesn't want to answer that question because he is just enjoying the moment with you but you aren't in his future. So I would get out of it!
