I really like my friend, and like to hang out with her once in awhile, but it never fails, her boyfriends always hit on me. I am single, successful, have a very good job as a nurse and I think they see me as a better catch because she has 1 kid in prizon, no money, no home and to be honest drinks quite a bit and has no ambition. How would you handle this? She wants to go out with her new boyfriend and me. I dont wanna have this guilt. It has happened at least 2 other times. Should I tell her or just pretend it doesnt happen. She has a new boyfriend and she and I have been friends since high school and we are 43 yrs old.

i am in a relationship with someone but he works out of town and he is gone a lot, so I end up going out without him much of the time.

It sounds like instead of double dating you always go out as a threesome with your friend. What's up with that? If you're the better catch and all ... why are you the third wheel? No don't tell your friend that her boyfriends have been hitting on you. Instead ask her if her boyfriend has a friend.
