Maybe. I saw a TV special about it and they showed that it can be faked. But, they've checked out "crying" statues that didn't appear to be fake. So, maybe they're real, I'm not positive.

Most have been proven to be an illusion or a chemical affect. It isn't real blood, but may look like it.

I agree with Stingy in the respect that if it does happen, I doubt it is of God. Because often when these events occur, people flock to them and begin to worship the statue. In that case, they are more focused on the statue and "miracle" than God. The statue becomes an idol, and we are not to have idols.

As to whether or not it is Satan, I don't know. It could purely be coincidental.

I agree with Kite Girl! And don't listen to any of the mean answers. People on these boards are so rude. I have seen a statue that was bleeding oil out of it ,in soutthern calif. a few years ago and no one could explain it. I have also seen alot of show's that have proved most are fake. I think miracles can and do happen everyday and I think you should think whatever you want, it doesn't hurt. Check the Blessed Mother statue in Sacramento on line. I don't have the exact page but you can google it. People who have seen it believe it's real! Peace~

If God wanted statues to "cry or shed blood", that would be no problem. However, I don't see why He would want us to be involved in statue worship, since that's a pagan practice.

Yeah, but I don't think it iz tha work of the Lord. Why would he do that?. Besides a statue iz an 'Idol' and God don't like them.
When a statue cries blood or whatever, its probably something satanic.

Yes, because God will use miracles on those things instead of the ailing child in a Children's hospital who could really use a miracle.
