Actually they do, if for whatever reason you use it and it does not perform to your satisfaction, you can take it back to the place you purchased it for a full refund, No Questions Asked. You must show proof of purchase and also be the user of the parachute.

haha.whose lifetime..the parachute or the person??lol.and by the way to wise ol guy.if it wont perform to the user's satisfation who will take it back and and if the user is still alive what is the user goin to show him...broken bones???? a refund will do good in that situation,yeah right.

No..They are made of fabric, and eventually will degrade. They must be inspected before use, for any defects, tears, or wear. In the event one catastrophically fails during use, a reserve chute should be deployed. "If that one should fail you too....lookout ground I'm coming through."
