I've read countless questions where I have to add words for the question to make sense. Are we really in that much of a hurry?

I think you nailed it. Typing too fast and proof reading too fast.

They are in a hurry and some of them probably DO proof read it but when a person reads TOO fast, they don't catch all the mistakes.

There are probably some that proof read but think that what the spelled out WAS correct. These people didn't do well in school.

Others, simply don't care what others think about them.

As long as they know, we can understand their question, regardless, they will continue to type in slop.

Some people are in so uch of a hurry because they're just programed like that. I think it's how you were raised. If your mother was always in a rush, she made an example for her children. You should slow down and try to explain things if you want people to understand what you're talking about.

I agree. Sometime people in a hurry and you read the question because doesn't make sense.

It's almost as if people school never learned proper way write sentence. Do you know what mean. They just leave out certain key elements of the.

Man, annoys me.

Yes.

This is a modified message board, and you don't do a whole lot of proof reading when posting to them.

It is sort of about instantaneous feedback.

I feel lucky when I don't have to read text message spelling, let alone anything else.

I agree with you. They should use more of the spell check facility and they should see that their question makes sense

It may be a question from someone whose first language isn't English, and they're trying their best. But I guess that thought never entered your head.
