I've cleaned my earphones with alcohol... Does it damage them?

If it is somewhere around 70 to 85% ethanol, then it won't damage them. You can put the alcohol on paper, and then wipe the earphones. Just don't submerge the earphones in the alcohol. Also, don't do it too often.

Straight alcohol can deteriorate the foam rubber. Use it sparingly and only in the areas coming in direct contact with the wearer.

Only if you got the alcohol inside them.
