i need help.a guy i had been dating for 4months online and on the phone.he told me 2weeks ago lets just be friends i said ok.then a week ago he said i wanna think about us getting back together and ill call u tomorrow to let u know.he never called.but his profile says single and i hate love.the thing is before we became just friends we had a great connection.but now he has been gone for 4days im having trouble coping.and knowing ill never talk to him again.

You see you will know if this guy is worthy of your love or not. There are times when I am crazy about a guy and I know deep down he is not the one or it will never work out. Even if you feel you are in love with him you must always be honest with yourself. Ask yourself if this guy is really worth your energy on. But always remember if this does not work out, there is someone better for you out there and you just haven't bump into him yet because its not the right time. Please do not be like those others who fall for a guy's trap and become intimate with him just to get hurt in the end or be pregnant with someone who wasn't the one for you. Don't let him play games with your heart.

It's hard to maintain a relationship like this. You haven't seen this guy in the first place. Don't say that you hate love, because he hasn't shown you that he loves you, too (vise versa). The phone is not enough. Yes, you guys are keeping communication-which is great. But, the trust, where is it? Now, he hasn't talk to you so far about getting back together. Girl, don't wait any longer. He can't have you waiting on the phone. Anyways, it seems like he has change. You mentioned that you guys started with a great connection and faded away as thing went to a different direction. I believe that you got to move on. Find yourself a guy outside of the Internet. There are plenty of guys out there whou really care about a girl's feelings. Don't fill your mind-specialy your heart- with illusions. That's bad for any one. Move on. Forget about him. There is something you must realize. Someone over the Internet, whom you've never met, could be anybody he feels you want him to be. He could be Joe SerialKiller. You cannot seriously let yourself become involved in this manner. You simply must not be this trusting and weak to a person over the phone. You have got to get a life. You may be lonely and feel you need companionship...but this is not the way.
I mean you are letting a total stranger dictate your happiness. This type of weakness will get you in trouble and cause you pain through your life. Please...for your sake...find your self respect and hold on to it.

Not all online guys are criminals or whatever, he may be a nice guy, but I would try to get over him if you can. It might be better to meet a guy in real life, if you haven't met him and were just talking to him online, I would drop it. I kinda know how you feel though....I've known this guy for about a year, in real life, and I have to move and I might not get to see him ever again. Just remember the good things about the relationship and remember that if it doesn't work out there's a better guy out there for you.

Well...i think that you should just let him go
he is not worth it
he is just going to keep doing the same thing over and over
He is going to break up with you and then want you back
and who cares about what all these people say about online dating..my grandma met some guy on line and they met and they even got married.
but really just let him go you will find a way better guy that will make you happy!!

you should be glad it's only 4 months you invested into the relationship. I have 4 1/2 years invested my story is complicated but I let go of him and he was my true love now I have to live life without him, i love him more then life it's self!
He might have found someone else so sorry.

Nyergh, I know how you feel. I did a lot of comfort stuff--eating, shopping, talking, stuff like that. I'd greatly recommend whining to friends you know you can confide in. It's the best way.
