I am not sure about the Koran and its origin. However, I do know about the Bible. The bible was written mostly by men, but has several important female influences. I know this information to be true because their are a significantly large amount of original copies of the bible and they were written by men. That is one of the fascinating points about the bible. For being as old as it is, you would think there would be few original copies. Because of the fact that its mostly written by men, doesn't mean that God is a man. God has taken the form of a man on earth as Jesus Christ. As the holy spirit inside us, God has claimed no gender. God is also known as "our father" suggesting male gender. It is said in the bible that we are made in his image, both male and female. I think that it comes down to the fact that we are not worshiping or believing in a gender, we are beliving in someone known as "God" who has given up his son for our salvation. The important part is that you believe- and that must not be mixed with something as insignificant as gender.

The Bible has some very powerful and godly women illustrated in it. That doesn't have anything to do with who God is.
One quick note, I've read the overtones that you keep implying and I'll give you this. Jesus' resurrection is the fundamental truth of Christianity. The men who authored the Bible lived in a culture that believed the testimony of women to be of little use or credance and yet... they were willing to admit that women were the first to see Jesus soon after He had risen even if it meant the possibility of invalidating their claims.
This was just another example of the proof of their testimony.

God is a spirit creature, I feel like I am wasteing my time with you people. Spirit persons don't have flesh and blood bodys.
Peter said flesh and blood cannot inherit the heavens.
What difference does it make if he is a girl or a boy
The bible always refers to God as he.
so He is a boy. The bible has everything we need to be successful in life and it was written for us by our heavenly father.
It doesn't matter what sex organs they have.
Gee, get your mind on something else besides where it is.

Koran is written by God. God does not have a gender. The reason why we say He is out of respect for God. It would be disrespect to call God it. God has no gender if he did have a gender then that would not make him imperfect. That would make him like his creation. God is not like his creation.
