well if they dont want to learn it, thats the way they will be..
but if you explain the chances it will bring maybe they will think to themselves maybe i should i learn it.

Well...make the lesson fun! you can try some games...role play...or story telling...for teenager you can choose a song from a well known artist and discuss the song or latest movie, play it for listening and ask the students to write the lyrics, discuss what the song is all about for more vocabulary, idioms, and gramar...

You can't really force the person if he/she doesn't like it. However, if you could show to him/her that everyone likes the language and that it's very useful, then he/she might change his/her mind. =)
