As a fictitious character he doesn't have the capacity to do any such thing as punish atheists let alone require my permission...it's nonsense, get over your fairy story.

God gave us the right to live and have free will... so that means we can make our own choices and do whatever we want, but you realize that God didn't ask much of us, and he gave us soooo much.... why shouldn't atheists be punished, no, humans should not punish atheists because we're all sinners... only God has the right, and you know, after all, he created us, i think he's got the right to do whatever he wants with us... and he always does stuff to us for our greater good, he's not like that, just punishing you for the heck of it....the God i believe in is merciful and loves you no matter what, but he does yearn for you to turn towards him and believe, just give your life to Him, and you will never want anything more... trust me on this one, maybe God bless you and i hope your question was answered

how would you be punished by god if you are an atheist. I actually just looked up what an atheist is...I'm guessing that I would be one...I dont believe in god whatsoever. I've already attempted to be punished by "god".....I stood outside in the middle of one of the worst storms there have been around here (thunder, lightning, downpour, winds...) and cursed "god" out. didnt get hit by lightning, roof didnt fall off and crush me. "god" has no rights. He doesnt exist. The one thing I tell everyone that isnt sure if they believe or not is: "Belief is for the weak. The belief is for people that dont believe that they can live on their own, they need someone there to help them. It's also for people who have lost a loved one, and want to believe that they are in a better place. I'm sorry to say, they are not...they are 6ft below the place you decided to bury them." If he wants to bring on the beatings, he'll know where to start, and I'll let you know if he's got that right.

An atheist believes there is no god, so as far as the atheist is concerned, there is no god to punish him.

If an atheist believes that God is punishing him, then he believes in God and is no longer an atheist.

From the perspective of a Christian, where in the Bible does it say that God punishes atheists?

If you are facing a contradiction, check your premises, you will find one is wrong.

Your question should read, does God punish atheists?

The answer is, only God knows. There is not one human being on this earth who knows the answer to that question.

retributive justice within God. Every sin and wrong doing has to be punished. Only the distributive justice of God can get you out under that judgement. Thats given in Through God also in the person of Jesus.

Actually, It was given to the Great Pumpkin by the Easter Bunny, who in turn, passed the power off to Santa Claus. Santa Claus gave it to the Tooth Fairy, and she, in turn, gave it to God. This is no more than common knowledge. Where are living? Under a rock?

God created all things. He is above all things. He has the "right" to whatever He wishes to do. But He is fully just, so people will only be punished who deserve it.

Forgiveness is a free gift to all through faith in Jesus Christ.

He doesn't punish atheists during their life on earth. Instead he looks at them with pity, and much love. He longs for them to come to him,and he will utterly forgive. If they continue until death then they will be destroyed by fire when he returns. They will burn quickly, and never shall they be anymore.
