Small living room/home theatre. Will mostly be used for movies (HD-DVD once the price declines). Some daylight viewing of TV, later HDTV. Some PC monitor use. These three models picked in part for size...must fit space 54" x 30". Prefer non-reflective surfaces. Also, do not need speakers as I'll have surround.

Thanks for your help!

Note: I did check for reviews on CNET and many other sites, but did not find any on the Samsung or Sony.

I would go with Panasonic. It has the best reputation for plasma TVs.

the best thing to do is to go to www.cnet.com you can search on all the electronics you want but to answer your question the Sony seem to lack on some inputs but the TV was designed for corporate use not home but still give great picture quality the Panasonic is know for it great plasmas they are the best and most tech experts think they are great BUT you have to buy special input cards for the TV to even use so it can get expensive if you need alot of inputs and the Samsung i have no clue but go to cnet.com and you can find all the info you need i think the best is the Panasonic but still go check www.cnet.com
