Who are ready able and willing to stand up for their Ancestoral homelands?
Why are the Southern Natives so hateful towards their "Northern cousins" ?
The old ones tell us that we are all related, so why do our relatives act in this manner? Do they fear us? Are they jealous of us? These are questions that I have.

They wish to be one of the great nations. They cannot, and resent the power, sovereignty and spirit of a people united. They know we know what they did to us.

They want your casinos. The Old Ones should have warned you.

I'm all for defending the Ancestral Homeland, despite being 'native' rather than Native American.

Pancha isn't a Southern Native, however, unless you count Texas. And I don't think she dislikes you, she is just pro-amnesty.

Cherokee Rose pretty much said it.

**PANCHA, quit putting words in my mouth. I never claimed that I should be revered because i'm a Native. I don't consider myself any better, or worse, then anyone else in regards to what race I am. In fact, YOU'RE the one who seems to think that one group of people should be revered. To the point where they are exempt from any responsibility for their actions.

I've also NEVER said that Mexicans shouldn't be proud of their heritage. Ever. Unlike yourself, just because I find out that one group of people doesn't hold the same position that I do, doesn't mean I turn on them like a rabid dog and start making racist remarks towards them. Anyone who thinks i'm racist towards Mexicans has my permission to try to find out from YA how many racist remarks towards Mexicans have been reported by me. You don't see ME getting all "buddy buddy" with the racists around here, unlike yourself. I don't know where the hell you come off SLANDERING me, but stop it, you're making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Like I said before, while I never agreed with you, I USED to have a certain amount of respect for the way you carried yourself. Sadly, your true racist colors shone through and any respect I had for you was lost. Now with your new found slander you've sunken to an even new low.

Quit trying to slough off your own short comings as a human being on me. Pitiful.**

We are all related in the sense we are all of the human race. As far as blood, the first human recorded was from Africa, we ALL originated from there. We have since, traveled many long paths, taking us to all regions of the earth where diverse beliefs and cultures formed. Others may attack us and our culture, but do not let them bring you to such anger you think, talk and act irrational. They are like an injured animal, they will bite anyone who gets near it. They have been injured and wish to attack anyone. Do not let them bring you to such anger. They are the losers, they are jealous and they SHOULD fear us, since we do not bow down to their lawlessness. I WILL and DO stand up for my homeland. I am right beside you.<><>Cher<><>

ps..ignorance shows in posts like scafools up there, ignore such stupidity. YOU know people like him do not know anything about Native American Indians, our laws, treaties and agreements with the government. Just don't even acknowledge those 'fools', they are non-entities.

During the five hundred years since the arrival of the first European colonist, Native Americans have seen the beloved, hallowed earth of Turtle Island "America" invaded. appropriated, deforested, and poluted. Dispossessed of their homelands, removed far from the teritories that sustained their lifeways, many of the first peoples were devastated by disease and warfare, Those who survived were forced to accept new ways, to learn another's language, schooled in a religion unknown to them, and forbidden to practice traditional rites, I feel we lost our ideals, because the colonist divide our tribes.

From abroad it looks as though you're all being whipped up into a patriotic frenzy by a brilliant manipulator of the masses and these are the type of side effects to be expected.
Count how many simpletons jump to your side when you start talking about 'fighting' the enemy!
