Not asking him "for something" but "about something".

Actually a survey was done in the United States a few years ago, and the top three questions were:

What is the meaning of life?

Why does God permit suffering?

What happens to us when we die?

Job wanted to ask God a question and when God appeared God asked 70 questions and Job said he had nothing to say... it was enough to be in God's pressence to make sense of things in a way

Someitmes the answer of the things that knaw at us is to trust the character of God

Wow! Good Question. Do I have to narrow it down to one thing??? I guess I would ask What is the pupose of my experiences? Meaning, what am I supposed to learn from my recent circumstances and how will they shape me in the future. I'd really like to know that, because I've been getting discouraged and I've been praying and I just don't feel like I'm getting a response.

SO, now that I've spilled it all, what's your dysfunction?!

When will I be with you? How long do I have to wait? I already know the answers for myself. I know Gods time is not mans and I will be given a life with the Lord. I have been forgiven for my sins, past present and future. God knows all and sees all before we were each born. I am looking forward to being with God - either in heaven or here on earth, his will not mine.

I do ask questions to God. That's what prayer is :)
Sometimes the answers are not what I want or I may not understand them, but one day we will stand before God and everything will be clear.

Why the **** am I paying for the sins of some guy 6000 years ago? What kind of half-assed justice is that? And how does some other guy getting nailed up cleanse my sins? And why am I a sinner if I am born in sin? Why do I even need redemption if I'm born into it? What kind of ******* plan is this anyhow???
