Maybe they can have the World Cup of Religion, held as a round-robin-tournament in various holy locations. But what sport? Soccer is the most universal... but gladiator-type sports would be much more fun.

The best part would be to see the signs outside all the local houses of worship changing: "Oh look dear, the synagogue is now wiccan! Looks like the Witches won the semi-final match!"

No one. Who knows, in 500 years the largest religion might be the church of latter-day Scientologists. Or some new religion imported from aliens. And what people of the future call Christianity might be very different from what we think of it today. Perhaps Islam and Christianity has fused into Chrislam or something. Or some really weird new age thing. I used to hope everyone would be atheists but people need their safety blanket. So that's not for everybody either.

no religion will actually win. there are to many stubbornly strong willed people out there with opposing beliefs. until the end of people comes, there will be arguments about religion.

christianity is putting up an extremely good fight with their good marketing, but there are many non-believers who are giving just as strong of a backlash with their armed forces, if not as publicized.

in the very end, it is my belief that death will win, and that we should stop worrying about religion so much, and start trying to make what little amount of life we have better.

i think that swayzeism is going to be the people's champ in the end, it is a fast growing religious comunity, i have recently converted and am very pleased with everything i have seen thus far, i have been to every service and am pleased beyond every expectation, i mean for example, just the other day patrick swayze was preaching the good word when he suddenly busted out with an amazing gospel and he was lifted by wires into the air, all the way up to the steeple, and he looked so heavely, how can you go wrong with that i ask?? that is the way i wanna go out brethren!!

NONE I hope. It pees me off when everyone preaches to you on who or what you should believe in but I hope everyone is proved wrong somehow and stops believing because religion causes nothing but trouble. Everyone should enjoy life for what it is, make the most of it and stop fighting! I'm a good person, have good values and I don't need to believe in anything. We are born, we reproduce, we die. The End. I'm not scared and no-one else should be.

God will win, not any religion. But, I know what you mean. It seems so many wars are based on religious differences. Just look at the Middle East for the last 4-5K years! It seems so unbelievable -- fighting over religious differences. Nobody really wins!

I will probably be shot down in flames, but I have never supported the idea that God is looking for labels, just honest decent people who do their best, help others in need, try to keep the peace et cetera

I really hope none of them do.
We'd all be a lot better off if there was none of this controlling, mind-warping religion stuff - but then I suppose something else would take its place, like football teams or the size of your car.

I think that all positive religions will eventually become "one"; but this won't happen until we have a major event happen, like aliens from other planets finally making themselves known and telling us how they have visited this planet for centuries, creating certain "beliefs" according to who they visited: Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, etc. and allowing us to understand how all religions are tied together...
