Everything that exists is a part of God. There are no exceptions to this rule.
If satan exists he would not be an exception to this rule.
In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satin/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about satans role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Well God and Satan, according to the traditional Christian story are two different people. God is of course God, and Satan was Lucifer (God's most beloved angel). Then Lucifer got too power hungry and God basically said enough now I will banish you. If you go with that story then they are two different beings.
If you really think about it God and Satan in ways are both sorta the same, just depends on which path you want more. If you want to be more peaceful and nice then God is the one you want. If you enjoy pain and bringing it to others then you more than likely like Satan.
It is an interesting thought that they both could be the same and very possible. If you think about it every person has good and evil and free will. I cant see why God would not have a mix of both and maybe that would explain why he hasnt killed Satan because Satan is necessary to keep around for free will.

I think Satan or lucifer was a human mind based creation to help themselves(people) better understand why God can let so much wrong happen. As to say that people spoke of God being Almighty and good but there has always been famine, violence, murders and various sorts of natural disasters. So the less fortunate would find themselves praying to God for betterness. So in turn because life is given to us and for us to do as we please, the human mind created Satan to better cope with loss and misfortune. The wealthy and successful really don't find themselves wondering what is after life because they have attained everything the could really need. But ask a homeless man why he's out on the streets doing drugs? Satan", the devil, God hates me, alot of excuses to feel better and sorry for themselves about their situation.

Hey yeah! Like God tells everyone that Satan is this evil guy that got tossed out of heaven and is his exact opposite. When in fact God is just schizophrenic and he just THINKS that he is separate from Satan but REALLY they are the same person!

This is all assuming there is a god.

Not possible. If God were a super-nova, satan would be the space He was filling. You may think space, and satan are real, but they are both really one big nothing. One really big nothing. So, if you think that the super-nova would eventually take over all the space, then yeah, God would be in the space called satan. But being in space, isn't the same thing as being space.

Fill your nothing...

Nope. Is it the same when you have a headache and when you do not ? Is it the same to listen to Satan's voice and hurt someone then to do God's will and help someone and make him feel better?

NO.

Not only is it possible it's probably true. Maybe satan is just God's feelings of himself. Think about that.

its impossible that they could not be "one in the same"

If there is one God, everything in creation had to have been created from that God, and therefore are part of that God, this includes any Satan
