yes there is , they can only have one tank, 4 rocket propelled grenades, 10 uzi machine guns ,and 6 million rounds of ammo PER HOUSEHOLD, and if they want a nuclear device they have to apply for a license

Eventually I agree we should allow them to bear arms as one of their rights. But right now democracy hasn't really been established. Sure Bush says it has, but he has to if only to maintain what is left of his poll numbers. After democracy has been established (and if it will be, based on what I see the likelihood isn't even 50/50 that it will be) then allowing the right to bear arms and putting it into their constitution would be the right thing to do.

I don't think Iraq's at the point of forming a Constitution similar to the United States yet. That would be up to the Iraqi government and not ours. We have to 1st get them to bathe and then we'll work on their rights.

First of course we don't allow or not allow them anything, they have thier own government now, and they set thier own rules.
But as noted I don't think they can have missle lauchers ( although some do) but most have weapons.
