I was blonde my whole life....then my hair color changed to a light brown with natural blonde and a little bit of red highlights. Then I started highlighting it so it became completely blonde again. Then after 4 years of that I went to a really dark brown short cut. Now I am back to blonde and long again. I can't really decide which I like better. I just want something to match my skin tone and eye color best. I have a medium to fair skin tone with fairly light blue eyes. I'm debating on going with a really light cool ashy blonde....or a light brown. Any advice?

Red is really not an option for me. Once you put red die in your hair it takes YEARS to fully disappear. Plus I already have a red tints in my hair and I don't really like it...which is why I've always covered it up with cool blondes and browns. I have a really good hair stylist who I will go to for my final opinion but I'm open to all suggestions.

P.S.

Here’s a funny little poem that I wrote myself about hair color….this NEVER happened, of course. But it’s kind of funny!!

The Colorist:

Natural color….Gosh, it sucks!!
So I buy and dye….I shell out big bucks!

I pace the store isle….Which color to choose??
There’s reds, blondes, blacks…even blues!!

I grab something blonde and I start to go…
then I grab a second box (My hair has grown!)

I get it home and there it sits
till I get in the mood to deal with the sh*t.

Then with disgust I drape on a towel.
Grab the timer and gloves….The time is now!

I slather it on, choking on fumes,
the timer’s ticking like impending doom!

Then I get down on my knees and I pray…
Please, oh God please, let it be okay!!

Then I rinse it all out and blow it all dry.
Oh God…it’s GREEN!!! I’m just gonna die!!

A copper brown always brings out blues. The best way to tell is to get a few crayons as close to the colors of the dyes that you like and then put them near a color of your eyes. Try to do this on paper that is about your skin tone. If you can't find paper that is your skin color, apply a very light layer of your foundation, let dry and then proceed with the above directions.
You don't have to go into all of the other steps, but some people like to go the hole 9 yards. This will give you some idea of which direction to go in.

when choosing hair color you really should go more by your skin tone than by the color of your eyes... if you want to bring out your eyes, use makeup. try using an eyeshadow thats a contrasting color, an orangey shade of pink or red or something like that? ask a professional. first of all you should never buy hair color from walmart, walgreens, etc. go to a professional and they should be helpful in choosing a good color for you

WHITE

Yes, absolutely. White hair with the lovely contrast to your skin tone and blue eyes would be simply awesome!

You might go for a red shade, I've seen some people with red hair and blue eyes and their eyes really stand out. Don't go for a trendy red shade though, go for a natural one, like auburn. Try Nice & Easy light auburn.

Darker hair will make your eyes more evident if they are light blue. But ultimately, make-up accenting your eyes is what will truly make your eyes and eye color more noticeable.

Warm colors don't work as well with "cool" colored eyes (Unless it's dark and warm)
Just find a good contrast.
Black might not work for you (but then again it may)

Nice deep solid colors would work.
or solid light colors with a bit of accent.
