If you're trying to take the player out: you have to take the side kick panels that are located on both sides of the center console. If you're sitting driver, it will be located next to your right foot, and the passenger will be of course on your left. I think it's like 3 panels. Once you remover those you have to push the seat back as far as possible so you may position yourself under the dash looking upwards. You have to disconnect the antenna which is a black thick wire and then the other two harnesses should just snap off. After you do that simply push it out from the back. wiggle it from side to side as you're pushing it out and it should be fine. this should not take you more that 1 hour. if you need to find more info try this site.. i once was a proud cougar owner....... sigh............ okay hope this helped.

are not those gadgets standardized as to length now? looks to me I said a connection with "DIN" concerning length. There are one million DIN and a couple of DIN gadgets, i recognize. i'd imagine that any standardized unit may slot in any motor vehicle from 1996 (or earlier?) on, as long as you purchased a faceplate from the motor vehicle producer (via the broking service).
