Considering it is written that in the end it will be worse than Sodom and Gomorrah... I think generally speaking morals are definately declining.

I know people generally think it's in decline, but I wonder whether we only tend to think that because with the way society is connect nowadays, we tend to hear more of it. I'd bet there was quite a bit of crime and corruption a hundred years ago that most people never heard of but still existed.

I think my parents' idea of morality is on the decline, but I also think that what people call "moral" changes from generation to generation. For example, the divorce rate is about 50%--much higher than 50 years ago. But does that mean that people give up too easily and have no respect for marriage, or does it mean that people are more willing to acknowledge when they no longer love each other? How many people were stuck in loveless marriages 50 years ago compared with today? I don't have the answer, but I do wonder about that.

I would bet declining overall but perhaps by some a comeback. But then many of us have different ideas of morals.

Declining, the other day a woman slammed the door to the store shut as I was leaving with a handful of groceries!
Maybe it's not so much morals as it is manners.Nobody I see eats with a napkin on their lap and elbows off the table...The worlds just taking a crap!

You know, I think that the average moral standing of most people is right where it was four thousand damn years ago. I don't believe that people really change very much. BTW, Sodom and Gomorrah were quite a deal worse than Americe, China, Japan, or anywhere else. God did not find one single good person aside from the kin ot Lot. So we have a long way to fall, if were are going to ******* backslide.
Damn.

Morals are declining faster than anyone realizes. We are becomming a society that will accept almost anything we like as truth. God has a set standard that never changes because God never changes. So that tells me that we should never lower our standards to fit in with society. If we depend on God, He will show us the right way through His word.

definately declining, people want to ban marriage between two loving adults, people are for torture, people would rather see their friends and family die of terrible diseases then allow scientist to work with a technology that has no evidence of hurting anyone

Decline, just look at society today-hate, violence, premarital sex, abortion. No, we are at the shallow end of morality.
