In every day life do people discriminate against you because of your religion much?

Also, I know this happened a long time ago but I have never known some one of the Islam faith so I could not ask, but do you believe the attacks on 9-11 were justified or do you think those people were an embarassment to your religion?

This question is not hostile, just curious.

9-11 NOT IN THE NAME OF MY FAITH!!! sure there are a embarrassment to human society ..how can any one justified murdering of Innocent people ..
I know you say this question is not hostile ..but how can it not be
why do you think 9-11 had any thing to do with religion Islam and Christianity ..why is it that only Americans .British .and only those who are involved in Iraq are targeted why aren't other countries who are not involved in Iraq are not facing hostility..
please don;t play the religion card.. 9-11 wasn't done in the name of my faith

Well i've never really had a bad experience ...i think people here are pretty nice....theyre like smiling ....they kinda stare i think because of the clothes i wear n funny things happen ....like once me n my sis-in-law were walking and this guy in a car shouted out Mashallah (which means Whatever Allah wishes....u say it when u see something good and dont wanna jinx it) ..i was like did he just say what i think he did
n we just started laughin like crazy
things here at yahoo ans seem bad....but not really out in the real world....Thank God i havent really had a bad experience yet (been here for 4 months)

i dont think any attack in which innocent people die can be justified
and those people give our religion a bad name

oh n i 4got to mention that the worse experience i had was at the airport .....i was almost in tears...because of the security and everything people there are really rude with muslims and immigrants....i was just thinking why did i come back....i dont wanna go to the airport again

I live in egypt so i wouldnt know much about how muslims are treated over there, but there's definitely a lot of hate on yahoo! answers.. as for the 9/11 thing, no one is happy to see inocent people dying. we were sad for what happened and all those lives of course. when the media reported that muslims were rejoicing it was only the palestineans who undergo opressing from the isreali government as isreal is supported by USA.
up till now it wasnt proven that muslims really were responsible for the attack as USA government hasnt presented any solid evidence, but in all cases, we do not encourage killing innocent people

Islam has forbidden killing of innocent human beings. As it was observed that many innocent people were killed during the 9-11 attacks therefore this act was against the teachings of Islam. Infact Osama is an Ameran agent, the 9-11 attacks were carried on intentionally inorder to achieve goals of Israel. One of the goals was to capture the region around Israel and make Israel secure. Rememeber on the day of 9-11 there was no Israeli killed in the twin towers, even when thousands of them used to work there but on that day they were on holiday.

Americans also had their goals fulfilled by capturing large quantity of oil and gas resources.

A true Muslim cannot kill innocent human beings. but if Muslims and their land is attacked by their enemies like in Palestine, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir etc. then Islam has given them right to fight back inorder to save themselves. so they can fight against army but never even hurt innocent people.

Hate remarks in yahoo ans...all the time...

Real life...they are really nice Americans. In CA they are extra nice. No problems in VA. Once they know I am Muslim they keep their distance.

Perhaps you should ask why some Muslims hate America so much.

Hey Michael R, maybe YOU should ask that question and let Danni ask what's on her mind.
