Obviously, your spouse cannot follow you on deployments and such when you're on a ship. But the vast majority of places where you would be stationed, like places in the states, Japan, Guam, and yes, even S. Korea (many, many military spouses live there. There are many bases there) spouses and families live with their enlisted person.
We lived in Japan for 3 years, and I had our daughter there. They have military housing, American hospitals, and all the amenitites needed. Living a Navy life means moving a lot, but it's a lot of fun and you get to see many great things.

Yes your spouse can go with you after you have completed Basic and AIT. If you both enlist you will NOT be allowed to serve at the same duty station. It is against Navy Policy to allow spouses to be in the same Chain of Command. It helps prevent favoritism. But there are some Duty Stations that your spouse will not be allowed to go to if you get stationed at them. However the Navy still lets you pick your orders from a list of available stations. So you shouldn't run into the problem of your spouse not being allowed at certain duty stations.

Yes. The boat for spouses follows the aircraft carrier you are stationed to around the world.

They can live with you when you aren't on a ship. There are places your spouse may be stationed that you can't go though, like S. Korea.

I wouldn't join the military these days unless you want to get shipped to Iraq and get killed. Wait until George W Bush gets out of office first
