I am looking at Anderson and EZ Dump trailers. Anderson is $2000 less but is power up/gravity down. Is this a big deal. The trailer is 6.5' X12'. Payload Capacity about 6800lbs.

Thank you.

the only time you really need a power down dump bed is if you are going to be dumping on hillsides, with the gravity down bed you will have to go back to level ground to make it come down, where as with the power down you can lower it before you move it.....makes things easier on your bed hinges and hinge mounting points on the frame.

$2,000 buys a lot of my time to sit and watch a bed fall as opposed to power down. You are going to add about 3 min to each dump... so it is all about how much your time is worth.

I would have no problem using a gravity down trailer, mine is power down, but a guy I see at the dump frequently has a gravity down and it works quite well...

Hope I was helpful

Ue'll probably be ok, but the power down is gonna be better, but 4 2000 less i'd go with the gravity down.
