President Bush is a Methodist, and his church doesn't teach Zionism. They tend to avoid anything that tends to support millennialism. If he does personally, his policies don't seem to support it.

Nope. If Israel didn't serve a purpose for the US, the US government would no longer unconditionally support her and if it was to the benefit of the US, the US would dig up dirt on Israel and use it against her. Of course it would all be done for the sake of democracy and freedom.
