I'm a 17 year old boy, and I weigh 178 pounds right now.
I've tried that whole "don't-eat-anything" diet, and I didn't lose anything. I didn't gain weight, but I just stayed at the weight I was when I started.
I cannot exercise effectively when I haven't eaten, so I guess I have to eat.
I have to lose 15 pounds in less than 2 weeks. I know it's unhealthy, but I can gain it all back once I get to my goal.
I'm not at all concerned about getting a six pack, being healthy, eating well-- well, at least not in this situation.
I have the rest of my life to get a six pack, but I need to get to 165 pounds as soon as possible. I need to stay below 165 pounds for a week, then I can gain it all back if I want to.
It's a very long story why I have to do this-- so I'll spare you, but I have to do this. It's not a possibility, it's a must.
So, what should I do? Should I just not eat anything and not exercise? I don't want to gain muscle.
Should I eat a little and exercise a lot?
Thanks!

Figure out your Lean Body Mass. (Find out your body fat percentage, multiply by your weight to get total fat pounds, then subtract total fat from total weight. Multiply your LBM (in pounds) by 0.9 to get the number of protein grams you need each day. Now, aim for as close as you can to that # by eating the following: skinless chicken breast, low-fat fish (tuna, cod, halibut, flunder, lobster, crab), extremely lean red meat (95-98% fat free), fat free dairy, egg whites, beef jerky (LOW CARB ONLY!). Split it into 3-4 (or more) meals a day. (I find that using the foil packet tuna helps, because it's a pre-measured serving.) Additionally, drink a lot of water, and supplement if possible with 600-1200 mg calcium, up to 1 g of potassium, and 500 mg of magnesium. (These will help prevent leg cramps.) Fish oil capsules (6g/day, which works out to about 60 calories) are also recommended. Also, you can eat unlimited veggies, with a few exceptions (like peas, carrots, corn, potatoes and beats). Other free foods include condiments such as lemon juice, spices, vinegar, mustard, soy sauce, salsa or pico de gallo, AND drinks such as water, diet soda, coffee (no cream/sugar), Crystal Light, tea (no sugar) and broth/bouillon cubes. (Also: sugar-free Jello.) Most of your weight loss will happen in the first few days (water weight) and you can expect to lose 10-20 pounds in 2 weeks. It generally ends up being 400-800 calories a day and about 100 grams of protein. It is not the healthiest method, but it HAS worked for me. When you add carbs back in, you will gain water weight rapidly. Good luck.

well human body is made up of air and water mainly stop the intake of food for days you will survive, stop the intake of water you can barley survive for a day and stop the intake of air you will loose all your weight in few second so my dear any imbalance in these two major element will result in body change either you will gain and loose the wait never listen to what others say about taking cabbage or lemon juice that wont work the best way to create the balance is changing your life style and that will begin with mental discipline example start meditation or yoga (not Physical yoga) and subtle changing your response to situation

CABBAGE SOUP DIET

The Cabbage Soup Diet is based on a fat-burning soup that contains negligible calories. The more soup you eat the more weight you should lose, but do not eat soup only or you will become malnourished.

INGREDIENTS

3 large onions
1 large green pepper
1 head celery
Half a dark green cabbage
Tin of chopped tomatoes
1 pack onion soup mix
3 vegetable stock cubes

METHOD

Cut all vegetables into small pieces.
Place in a saucepan with the rest of ingredients, cover with water, season and simmer until vegetables are soft.
Blend if preferred.

Day One: eat only fruit and as much soup as you like. Drink unsweetened tea, black coffee, cranberry juice and water.

Day Two: eat raw and cooked vegetables (avoid peas, sweetcorn, dry beans): at dinner reward yourself with a large baked potato and butter, and eat as much soup as you like, but no fruit.

Day Three: mix days one and two, eat as much fruit, vegetables and soup as you like but no baked potato.

Day Four: eat as many as eight bananas, skimmed milk and as much soup as you want.

Day Five: you may have 300-500g (10-20oz) beef (or chicken or fish) and a large tin or six fresh tomatoes. Try to drink 6-8 glasses of water and be sure to eat the soup at least once.

Day Six: eat 2-3 beef steaks with salad or fresh vegetables (no baked potato) and soup at least once.

Day Seven: brown rice, fresh vegetables and unsweetened fruit juice, eat as much as you like, plus soup at least once.

Well in order to burn fat you must exercise...the more muscle you have the more calories your burn the more calories your burn the more fat your burn. I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks eating nothing but fruits and exercising ALOT..i would run do weights, sit ups and crunches.

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. And so as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.

eat very little and cut out meat (meat will make you gain muscle quicker when you exercise)

then i'd reccomend ice for dinner and water to drink

lol

no but really you'll need to run alot ... fruits and veggies are low in calories, but will give you enough energy to do what you need to do.

Eat a lot of carbs, as bad as that sounds, then just run it off. Running works out almost every part of your body, but if you have bad joints just tone and eat less.

This would be very hard on your body. I don't think it's possible to lose 15 lbs. in 2 weeks anyway. Please don't do this to your body.
