that is a pure out lie.
it is not only CHRISTIANS that do that, it is anyone who beleives strongly in their own religion.
And christians know to love their enemies and not to get mad but to show the ways of the lord.

I don' t approve of it. But plenty of Atheists are just as angry. The world could use a little more tolerance.
Also, many people get in questions or discussions that they have no place being in. If someone asks about an experience they had with God. Then they are targeting a religious person most likely. Not an atheist who doesn't believe in a God. Many people provoke others out of spite. Just have to deal with it.

I don't usually talk about religion with people I barely know. Of course I'll talk about it on a religious forum, because this is the place for it. But I think religion shouldn't be a part of everyday conversation with someone who is a mere acquaintance.
On that note, if someone bombards me with questions about religion, I have no problem being honest, however, when the other person grows hostile, that's when the conversation is ended. My last words would probably be something like, "If you don't want an honest response on how I feel about God, then you shouldn't ask."
Blessed be.

I do not like to argue, but I have to defend myself as a Christian, and I can't speak for everyone, but I do not get angry, if there is not a lot of swearing or blasphemy in the question. I believe it is an opportunity for me to witness to someone. I think all the questions on here, putting God and religinon down, are actually people seeking the truth without realizing it. Atheist or not, May God bless you.

A true christian should never try to convert you or say bad thing about you because you don't have the same beliefs as us. And never judge that's only one person's job in our eyes. I have friend's who doesn't believe in God or Christ and stuff I respect their believes and don't ever judge. I just make sure since they don't have the same believes I watch what I talk about with them so I don't affend them in anyway. That's the way it should be. I'm sorry if any christian has ever made you feel differently about us.

I am Christian and I don't get angry when people disagree with me. It's a little disheartening however when someone you speak with doesn't see eye to eye with you on religion but a true Christian won't get truly "angry" when you disagree with them. I feel it's my job to educate people about Christianity but I allow them room to make their own decisions.

I don't get angry with someone who doesn't believe as I do but I can't help but wonder on what do they base their reason for existing if not that their lives were meant to be, that they have a purpose, and that there is more to living than merely existing in the world here and now. Its not that I get angry with them; its that I would want that they would want more for themselves and can so easily have it because its so freely given. I'm not talking about all the headaches that come from those who would say that you have to go to this church or that church. I'm merely talking about personal spirituality - that one on one relationship with the man upstairs.

I think they aren't open minded enough, they demand respect but don't seem to respect others thoughts or beliefs. They believe that they are right, as the rest of the world is wrong, but no one knows for sure what happened in the past and they can not determine the future. what would happen if they were proved wrong on there religion, they try to tell others they are wrong but the story's told in the bible seem very far fetched.

It annoys me, makes me sad, sometimes it makes me angry, but mainly I pity them. They have their belief and I have mine "god" gave us the will to chose. And people of all religions should respect that choice. I understand that Christians and others believe it is there duty to go out and convert, but they should be willing converts. And if they truly were interested in converts they would be open to disagreements and discussion rather than immediately angry and defensive.

The same way I feel when anyone gets angry fighting for a belief. If you have to defend yourself you really don't believe do you? Have you ever got mad at someone for believing in God?

I only feel a little bit amused. How does my belief or non belief in their religion affect theirs? Does god exist a little less everytime he loses a believer? Do people get an afterlife commision every time they convert a person? Is it like selling avon and mary kay, where the person who tries to sell you his/her religion doesn't really care what you do with the redemption they sell you as long as they look good in gods eyes?
