How come there are locks on their doors yet they are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week? Don't say holidays, they are open on all holidays

Should anything happen, i.e. tornado, and the owner must leave, (s)he has the ability to lock the door and prevent theft and vandalism. A lock is always useful.

In case they get robbed. If the robber leaves the store, I imagine they don't want him coming back in, so they lock the doors and call the police.

lol, Prob cause all bulidings come with locks. Also what if there is only guy working and he HAS to step out...
